Ronaldo is the founder and Chairman of Servenco Management Inc. Ronaldo began working for the Servenco Group of Companies in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1973. He was the co-founder of MG-500, Servenco’s brokerage and marketing division which oversaw more than 100 brokers and employees.
In 1983, Ronaldo relocated to the New York City area to found Servenco Enterprises, USA (now Servenco Management Inc.). He has initiated and managed several commercial real estate developments in New York and Connecticut. Ronaldo was an industry pioneer when he launched a hedge fund portfolio in 1993. Ronaldo has been the visionary force behind Servenco’s investment strategies and continues to bring unparalleled expertise and vision to its portfolios.
Ronaldo received his law degree from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and was a licensed legal consultant with the State of New York serving foreign clients.
Deborah is the Chief Executive Officer and a director of Servenco Management Inc. She is responsible for strategic planning, optimizing resource allocation, and multi-national trust and estate planning and compliance. She has played an important role in advancing and modernizing operations through technological innovation and strategic corporate restructuring. She co-manages Servenco’s United States based real estate portfolio that has acquired commercial and multi-family assets in Denver, CO and Dallas, TX. She leads Servenco’s philanthropic giving and governance committees.
Prior to joining Servenco, Deborah worked at Cohen and Wolf, P.C., in Bridgeport, Connecticut as an associate in the litigation department. Deborah earned her B.A. with highest distinction, from Duke University and her J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law. Deborah is licensed to practice law in Connecticut, New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. She earned a Certificate in Private Wealth Management from the Wharton School, Institute of Executive Education.
Rafael is the Chief Investment Officer and a director of Servenco Management Inc. Rafael has been pivotal in expanding Servenco’s alternative investment portfolio to include private equity, venture capital, and direct investing. Rafael co-manages Servenco’s United States based real estate portfolio that has acquired commercial and multi-family assets in Denver, CO and Dallas, TX.
Rafael is also a co-founder and Managing Member of Propus Capital LLC, a private fund business for non-US wealthy families and institutions. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the Board of Rio Design Barra, LTDA a Servenco developed shopping mall in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Rafael is an active YPO (Young Presidents Organization) member and has been elected Chairman of the board of the YPO Financial Services Network. Rafael received his B.A. from Duke University and his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where he was the co-chair of the investment club.
Geff is an advisor to Servenco Asset Management specializing in private equity and new business ventures. He currently is Vice President of Corporate Development at OncoCellMDx, Inc. Prior to OncoCellMDx, Geff was a Director of Business Development at Harvard University. Prior to joining Harvard, Geff led other companies including CEO of Cytex Therapeutics, Inc., a company spun out of Duke University, and President and CEO of Humacyte, Inc., a company created from technology out of Duke University and MIT. Prior to these roles, he was a venture capitalist with Pappas Ventures, a firm focused on investments in the life science industry. Geff received a BSE in engineering from Duke University, an MSE in biomedical engineering from Tulane University, and a PhD in biomedical engineering from Duke University
Alan Haratz has been serving as the Director of Real Estate Investments and Operations at Servenco Brazil since 2017. Graduating from PUC-RJ with a degree in economics in 2000, Alan has accumulated 20 years of experience in alternative investments globally.
In his current role, Alan oversees Servenco Brazil's real estate investments, team and operations. Additionally, he plays a key role in investment decisions across alternative investment sectors globally and contributes to portfolio management. With his extensive experience and deep knowledge of the global investment landscape, Alan has been an essential asset in driving Servenco's success in various markets.
Maria Isabel Cirne is a corporate director and general counsel for Servenco's Brazilian subsidiaries known as Grupo Servenco. She has been with Grupo Serveno for over forty years. She started as an administrative associate and became a legal intern while completing her law degree. She was promoted to head of the legal department and general counsel in 2001. She is integral to Grupo Servenco's strategic planning with her deep expertise in real estate and corporate law. She is a graduate of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
Sokol is the Chief Financial Officer of Servenco Management Inc. He is responsible for Servenco’s financial reporting, cash management, and implementing robust internal controls. Sokol provides overall direction and oversight for Servenco’s tax, treasury, and compliance functions.
Sokol has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in asset management, private banking, and broker-dealer operations. Before joining Servenco in February 2023, Sokol served as the Chief Operating Officer at J. Safra Asset Management Corporation where he was instrumental in designing, developing, and overseeing the operational infrastructure of a multi-asset SEC-registered firm with assets totaling $4 billion. Sokol successfully implemented complex business buildouts, enhanced operational efficiency, and fulfilled several strategic initiatives. He actively contributed as a member of the Executive Committee, Risk Committee, and Best Execution Committee.
Sokol earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Brian Garry serves as the Operations and Accounting Manager at Servenco Management Inc. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations and accounting of the firm as well as ensuring adherence to all internal controls and procedures.
Brian has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held operational and trading roles at both buy and sell side firms. Most recently he served as the Director of Family Office at Artha Global Investors LP, a single-family office based in Fairfield County CT. At Artha Global Investors LP, Brian was instrumental in transitioning operations across two hedge funds to establish a single-family office across multiple asset classes. His responsibilities included coordinating the winddown of legacy hedge fund entities, setting up the family office, managing daily operations, and overseeing tax filings and planning. Brian also created and implemented the internal controls and procedures for the daily operations of the firm.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management (Cum Laude) and a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management from Iona College.
